Marty Sclisizzi, a former Senior Partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, has amassed over 40 years of experience as a trial and appellate counsel. He specialized in a broad spectrum of complex and multi-party commercial disputes, including class actions, banking, insolvency, fraud, employment, estates, real estate, environmental, partnership, shareholders, and other business disputes. He was recognized as a leading practitioner in Canada in banking and financial institutions litigation including retail banking disputes, lender liability, bills of exchange and other payment instruments, letters of credit and civil fraud. Marty has represented clients at all levels of Canadian courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and before various regulatory, administrative, and arbitral tribunals. He  also provided strategic, legal, and risk management advice to major Canadian and international corporations. Certified in Adjudication for Administrative Agencies, Boards, and Tribunals by Osgoode Hall Law School, Marty is a designated Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
